Emo Middle School Me and Her Crappy Poetry

 

Old poetry and drabbles written in Middle School with some of the melodrama, crushes, paranormal obsessions, and awkward creativity common in artists and writers that age.

This is my fourth collection but includes writing written years before any of my other work.

Hide and Seek and shooting stars:
The way we used to be.
The comfort and the recognition
unlocked me from my cage.
You filled up the hole
I'd always held inside,
not knowing what was missing
was a smile.
